Tumour
A tumour is an abnormal growth in living tissue. It is usually caused by a mutation in the DNA of some cells which results in them losing their ability to regulate how often they divide. Over-fast cell division results in the build up of tissue as a growth, or tumour. Such growths are often the result of cancer, but not always.
